• Used CPU: Intel Core i7-870 Prozessor (Boxed, FC-LGA4, "Lynnfield") => (www.alternate.de => No.: HU1I33)
• after installing everything worked fine (only bootloader was missing ;-))
• => but I was not sure if the Nvidia graphic card (Palit, 9400GT Super+1GB) worked correct and therefore I used MultiBeast to enable NVidia (and installing Bootloader). After doing that, network and sound doesn't work anymore. With Multibeast I enabled the network-card and sound-chip again. Now it works, but the Sound "knocks" sometimes if I start something to play. But if the Music is started there is no "knock" furthermore.
• Hint: I used a big disk with 1.5 T to install Leopard. That worked, but the bootloader (chameleon) can't handle that! I needed to use a smaller partition.

• on board video does NOT work, insert a card in the PCIe slot and set it as primary in the bios! (under advanced)
• USB works, You have to install using PS2 Keyboard and Legacy USB disabled in BIOS. Once SL is installed, you can renable USB Legacy from the BIOS, but make sure you add "USBBootFix"="Yes" to the boot.plist. this means you can use a USB Keyboard during the boot process of SL and make selections in chameleon / BIOS.
• for audio use VoodooHDA (Volume Changer Does Not work, its either on or off, no gradual increase/decrease)
• for network use drivers on realtek site
• tested with pata HDD and DVD (pata DVD and sata HDD did not install) SATA HDD works fine !
• used iboot method with vanilla SL DVD and then combo update+multibeast

Installation

• Installed Hazard 10.6.1-6.2 and deleted the AppleTYMCE.driver.kext. Then updated via SU to 10.6.6, restarted into another working SL or Win 7 with MacDrive installed and again deleted the AppleTYMCE.driver.kext and the SleepEnabler.kext. Then restarted and everything worked. Since I installed the update to 10.6.5 my PC runs with the original Kernel of OSX and I can do every Update simply through software actualisation. Only thing I had to do for full resolution 1920x1080 was to install SwitchResX and manually set up my resolution. Now everything works absolutely great, incl QE/CI.

• For audio use VoodooHDA, crackling on SPDIF fixed by using VoodooHDA Appleclip and disabling C1E in BIOS

• To boot i had to use "busratio=12 cpus=8" to boot to hazard 10.6.6i, but after install it seemed to boot fine. I selected chamelion 2 RC5
• => Graphics card currently doesnt fully work. Mac recognizes 32 mb vram, and says its a "gpu" rather than the card name in profiler. I have tried the official mac nvidia drivers for this card, to no avail. The computers first stick of ram is recognized but no others (2 GB) until i installed a kext to support intel 5 series motherboard. The sound (ALC 275) only worked after installing a modified VoodooHDA.kext to math my device and vender id's. Network card and wireless still have yet to work. My network card shows up after doing the normal Yuko2.kext hack by putting in dveice and vender id, but it still says cable unplugged, so im assuming it lacks methods to handle data from the card. USB (im not sure if 3.0 speed, but atleast 2.0) works after installing intel 5 series kext, but only after i deleted the extension.mkext cache in the cache folder.
• Hint: when installing using hazard, make sure not to install ANY audio/graphics packages or any other kernel (vanilla kernel works on i7 natively) and install voodoo usb/ps2 and laptop fix to enabled trackpad and keyboard. Other packages for devices seemed to cause kernel panics. Networking kexts were fine though, i installed them all in case i needed to hook into them to get my card working. Use verbose mode when booting (-v) if you get a kernel panic to see where/what it stalls on.
