- 1) Chameleon RC4 bootloader
- 2) Boot with 32-bit mode
- 3) DON'T USE Graphic Enabler for now.
- 4) In Bootloader options --> USB check all.
- 5) In the same menu check Ethernet too and, if you want, check Legacy Logo (you will have the original Apple Logo when booting)
- 6) In Patches menu don't touch anything. Don't use modified kernels or USB fixes.
- 7) In Drivers menu check only Main Hardware --> Sound --> Both drivers (Vodoo and Apple). If you use PS/2 keyboard or mouse, check PS/2 too.
- 8) Don't touch VGA for now.
- 9) In network choose Wired (if you're connecting with Ethernet) and select Realtek --> RTL8168.

- 13) To install VGA drivers, download Kext Helper v0.7 (this is the last version for now) and download ATI 5000 Series drivers 32-bit from www.kext.com. Use Kext Helper to install all the content from the ATI 5000 Series driver directory.
- 14) Install Apple Combo Update to get 1.6.8 version.
- 15) Enjoy your system.
With this configuration all works: VGA, USB and internet connection.

I used Retail 10.6.0 with iBoot with PCIRootUID=1 at start. It is a Core i7 870, and a friend gave me an Apple GT 120 video card. He was going to bin it! After updating with 10.6.8 combo update every thing works with out any additional kexts. So I did not install Multibeast - easybeast keeping as 'vanilla' as possible. So I use the iBoot cd to boot; the small price to pay.
I Used Retail 10.6.8 with iBoot PCIRootUID=1 at start. I have a Radeon HIS 5830 HD. Before I got the video drivers installed for it I was not able to get it working without PCIRootUID=1. Also Sound does not work from motherboard.

- MEMORY G.Skill 2x2G 1600Mhz
- GPU Gigabyte GTS250 VGAxDVIxHDMI
- Asus ML 24 (HD) - works with VGA connector only (no native HD so far with my card)
- DVD WR Samsung
Installation
- Start with Simple installation without iBoot (used the DVD own bootloader). /// Im a different user and I think best method is : To use iBoot. If you use iboot, when booted on CD, under iboot screen, after changing CD with DVD Install, press tab to inter simple mode (i did it to find the = and correct issue with keyboard) and use this command : PCIRootUID=1 -x to be able to reach install screen. I used the 10.6.0 DVD. Dont use Andyboot, its friendly user but doesnt work when installing10.6.8. After install : Use again : PCIRottUIS=1 -x but choose the place you installed Snow /// Do Not use the DSTD instructions when installer loads. just run the default installation.
- After installation, used the iBoot (iBoot Legacy for sandy bridge) to load into the OSX.
- Run MultiBeast and pick:
- EasyBeast.
- intel 1000 network.
- To Enable Sound: AppleHDA Rollback, ALC8xxHDA, Under Non-DSTD HDAEnabler - pick ALC892
- [pre-requisite for sandy bridge & 10.6.8 combo update] Run UpdateHelper (from tonymacx86 site).
- Reboot
- When OS loads it might not be responsive in the first few minutes, just wait ~2minutes.
- Install Snow 10.6.8 Combo Update
- [optional, if you have issues with bootloader] Use iBoot to load OSX and then run MultiBeast and re-install the Bootloader + SystemUtils (should fix the bootloader issues if any)
- Reboot

bios revision 0901 you can save your bios setting under tools in your bios :) 32 bit Q6600 CPU @ 2.4 Ghz overclocked in bios to q6800 6gm ram 2 1gig 2 2gig all by ocz
- After installing IPC 10.5.6 or Hazard 10.6.6i follow youtube video [4] after snow leopard 10432 which is 10.6.0 is installed use the combo update by apple 10.6.8v1.1 Do not use software update causes issues
- Sound=Voodoohda.kext works no digital audio yet..airfoil is what I used to get audio to stream to airport express for the time being. Also if using vlc delay audio to -2050.
- Video=Nvidia Gtx280 works hdmi full 1080p no audio via hdmi yet
- Ethernet=Both On board nic's work. Used Netkas support files installed ionetworkingfamily.kext in S/L/E then showed the packages contents and deleted nvenet.kext in plugins then put NforceLan.0.64.5.kext (This improved the stability of the machine immensely and torrent downloads now seem stable!)
- Ide works OOB
- Sata works
- Usb works
- Esata rocketraid 2302 Enable plug and play OS in bios then it works also use cpus=2 as a boot flag only running as dual core but still useable if you want e-sata support. AppleNforceATA.slash.kext needs to be updated for raid support see this link http://code.google.com/p/darwin-ata/issues/detail?id=2
Kexts used in S/L/E all in verdants v2.3 support files Install them there or you will have issues
- Ionetworkingfamily.kext modified by me :)
- AppleNforceAta.slash.kext or AppleNForceATA.imk64bit.kext since I have over 4gb of ram
- JmicronATA.kext (When I replaced this existing kext it helped my raid become more stable)

|
- Nawcom ModUSB autodetected most everything needed to produce a fully functional system!
- ElliotRTSC Chosen during installer to prevent CMOS wiping (just to be safe)
- VoodooTSCAMDSync Installed with Kext Helper after Installation - Keeps cores in Sync for better stability/performance
- Sleep doesn't work with S1 or S3 selected in BIOS. Sleepenabler.kext is installed.
- Shutdown/Restart broken - EVOReboot and OpenHaltRestart tried with no success
- VoodooHDA is crackly unless you open the prefs panel and tune it a bit, turn the input gain down and put checks in Use SSE2 and Enhance Audio - Otherwise Kexts.com has a AppleHDA.kext for ALC888 that sounds perfect without tweaks but you lease everything but output.
- Volume Control didn't work with keyboard controls properly until I upgraded to 10.6.8
- Sleep/Shutdown/Restart issues might be fixable. Haven't dug around a whole lot yet.
- Overall the system is 8/10. Stable enough for daily use (so far) with only minor problems that aren't deal breakers.

- DisplayPort is NOT working, just a black screen but it recognize that something was plugged in
- DVI works just up to FullHD resolution (1920x1080) if you have a resolution above this you have to plug out the cable and plug it back in to have a picture (everytime after booting)

- Install OSX 10.6.x, Update to 10.6.8,
- Edit and insert Vendor and Device ID's (Dev 68f9, Ven 1002) to both ATI5000Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX3000.kext, install them using Kext Utility.
- Reboot system, video card will be listed as a HD5000 series, but works 100% with full resolution change and QE/CI.
- I installed it on an HP DC7900SFF with an edited DSDT and an imac9.1 smbios.plist and graphics enabler=Y.

- With GraphicsEnabler in Chameleon as supplied with Blackosx's boot loader and supporting files.
- Is working with the Apple LED Cinema 27" display via Atlona Dual-Link to mini-DisplayPort adapter.
- Works via both direct connection of above monitor to mini-DisplayPort and via Atlona adapter to DVI port (both connection methods working in both Windows 7 and OSX 10.6.8).

*GraphicsEnabler=YES, custom EFI string injected on Boot.plist, you can download here [32]
- NOTE: The EFI strirng assumes card to be in PCI SLOT 1/0/0, which is the ones on gigabyte motherboard. Find out where is yours if it doesnt work, and modify supplied graphics.plist , then convert to HEX with GFXUTIL tool (look in this forum, very easy), and last substitute your customized hex lines in the boot.plist

- Works with NVenabler.kext (during Multibeast) or graphics enabler=yes (chimera efi)
- Important i already use this 2 cards in hackintosh and dont work 100% right you can see this in photoshop open a picture press f 2 times, them h, now move picture with mouse and see that the picture blink or movements are not syncro with mouse but if you use a real mac or use other cards like 9800gt, 250gts or 8600gts you dont have those kind of problems really is a problem if you use photoshop or photo edit software take care. and with enabler gpu is unknow in graphics info and dont use nvidia rom from card. i dont understand why tonys recomend this card i already try everything and dont work at 100%
