This is a hardware compatibility list for portable computers. We want to keep it as accurate as possible, but please, do not entirely rely on this list when buying a portable computer. Don't forget to add how you got OSx86 running on your portable x86 computer, and to use proper English. Please see the discussion page for proper instructions on how to input your system specs. Also, please contribute to the HCL 10.10.1 page, which should list a more granular view of compatibility. If your computer isn't listed, you should try it if you have a SSE2 or higher processor. Kernels are available for most configured machines

• ONLY add hardware that you have TESTED. Don't add hardware just because you think it might work.
• Please add hardware into tables.
• This is for 10.10.1 builds only.

• Install Method: Hackintosh OS X Yosemite Zone 10.10.1_Niresh L701X_Files_v3.zip 463-dell-xps-l702x-3d-driverskexts/ 10.9.0.zip
• Format and restore Yosemite-Zone.dmg on usb 8gb by transmac. Set bios AHCI. If you use 2 harddisks the first must be the OS X. The wifi must be off before installation to set lan as en0 and could be on only after you check lan is set to en0 in system configuration, after the third rebbot . Connect a usb mouse and a keyboard to the laptop. Boot the usb (F12): -v -x GraphicsEnabler=yes npci=0x2000. If the installer stop at bluetooth keyboard simply press space. Select diskutility, 2 partitions, first OSX, second, BOOT (at least 8 gb, better if larger for timemachine backup). Partition as os x file system journaled. Customize: Chameleon Standard, GraphicsEnabler=yes FakeSMC, Install Audio Drivers (kexts), MacPro 3.1, EthernetBuiltin=Yes, Ignore Chaces, npci=0x2000, Verbose Mode, Fixed Chipset Kexts, EvoReboot, NullCPUPowerManagement, Trackpad, Ps2 mouse…..(live all others unchecked). If the installer ends in this way: undefined error: 0, it however works fine. If the installer ends as usual boot from HD, otherwise, boot again from the usb, but select OSX (if you boot the OSX HD you’ll find: boot0ss: error_), after all niresh system installs, restore the USB on BOOT partition to take a safe start. Everything works fine, but you have to buy the wifi. Add the wlan kext before wifi, (RealtekRTL81xx-0_0_90.pkg in 10.9.0.zip remember to set the lan as en0, otherwise you can’t login apple store). You can find DSDT.aml in L701X_Files_v3.zip. The audio works after 3 rebbots, and needs –x to be unchecked in org.chameleon.Boot.plist

• I used Niresh's Hackintosh.Zone and skipped the customize stage. Just hit install and it'll work great. The graphics are smooth, but the only problem is the wireless. I'm looking into getting a compatible card.
