This is a component level hardware compatibility list. We want to keep it as accurate as possible, but please, do not entirely rely on this list when buying hardware. Add which parts you have working in the categories listed below, or create a new category. Please keep alphabetical order inside the categories. The categories themselves are ordered by popularity.   • Lan works with latest AppleIntelE1000e.kext (Older kexts disable internet after sleep)

  • Install ML as normal, let it restart, but leave USB in, (otherwise you'll get an Boot0 error), you will need to use the USB to come up to the menu, to choose which HDD to start up with, select the installed ML HDD, launch it, then install FakeSMC, Maolj's AtherosL1 ethernet & Chimera 1.11.1. ""Before YOU"" restart, make sure you remove ATI6000Controller.kext and use the one that you took out earlier due to repair permissions.
  • DON'T REBOOT just yet!
  • Then Add this to /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist

Comments :

  • Hackintosh wakes up if you set to startup or wake via Energy Saver, works OOB!!! Z77-D3H is the best Hackintosh Ive ever worked with, logicboard is OOB including sleep which I was impressed. Would recommend it to anyone. Time Machine works but havent restored it yet. iPhoto/iTunes works, AppStore works even updated via AppStore.

  • Install a recent ATY_init (mine was of May 2011, but couldn't find the link I used anymore...) to fix this

Card will show up as 4870x2 (1 core) and fully work!
