Early 2006 iMac's built in ethernet is based on the marvell yukon chipset. The driver is there, it should work...
I'm using an ASUS K8V-X mobo which uses onboard Marvell Yukon gigabit LAN AFAIK. Works fine for me, no extra drivers (tubgirl 10.4.8 AMD Final)...

Does no one know how to make a driver for this there are alot of us who dont have sound because of the lack of a driver for this
