I personally don't think this article is necessary. If information is added here and also at HCL_10.5.6 is will lead to chaos (rendundant information). You can even look up the corresponding device to a pciid up with google.

Also i would prefere to put links to sites like insanelymac & co and not personal homepages. A file on a personal homepages may often be deleted after a while (money, no interest in hobby anymore). The community won't profit from this. --Tom 15:30, 5 March 2009 (GMT) .

Insanelymac may faster be deleted by Apple vs personal homepages.
BTW - older domain vs any of osx86 and if You can find any broken link to it - please delete all the my contribs (nothing personal--Podarokm
I don't think apple will take down sites anymore. Osx86 is some kind of advertisement for Apple. A place to try out. If you want to work with it, you'll buy a real apple. But ok. Can we put the notice text on top of the article? The information where to search for the pciid and how to patch should me mixed up on one page somehow, perhaps on one page. Also the article should be more integrated on other pages.
By the way: what you call PCIID is really the PNPID, which consists of DEVID+VENDORID. See table [[1]] --Tom 10:35, 7 March 2009 (GMT) . . . . .
