This is a component level hardware compatibility list. We want to keep it as accurate as possible, but please, do not entirely rely on this list when buying hardware. Add which parts you have working in the categories listed below, or create a new category. Please keep alphabetical order inside the categories. The categories themselves are ordered by popularity.   • Used xMove to install Lion 10.7.0 from SL 10.6.8 in fresh partition
  • Ran standard software update to upgrade to 10.7.1
  • All works very smoothly, no problems connecting to App Store, etc
  • Ethernet: Ran multibeast to install Realtek gigabit network kext
  • Sound: VoodooHDA, ALC8xxHDA - think some of the jack colours are mixed up, but they work
  • Sound: Also have a Creative Bluetooth D1 wireless speakers + dongle which work well OOB
  • Other: FakeSMC from multibeast
  • Sleep: never wakes up, haven't tried fixing it yet. Shutdown/reboot fine.

I GA-EP45 UD3R Kakewalk install to 10.7.0 then update, run dsdt hdef patcher add the .dsdt.aml to extra folder, use kext wizard to install lion 889a from kexts.com Then you have sound fully working no pops or clicks like in older installs.

fully working out of the box otherwise with all memory show correct xfx gtx285 working OOB.
