This is a component level hardware compatibility list. We want to keep it as accurate as possible, but please, do not entirely rely on this list when buying hardware. Add which parts you have working in the categories listed below, or create a new category. Please keep alphabetical order inside the categories. The categories themselves are ordered by popularity. Please list any caveats or problems as well.

GenericUSBXHCI.kext for USB 3.0 Got the CPU fan to stop oscilliating (BIOS update to 3.0c solved it) For audio, install VoodooHDA 2.8.4. Remove AppleHDA. Replace /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext/Contents/Info.plist with http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=2fgRNRYq Integrated microphone jacks not working yet, 5.1 surround sound is working. Surround sound requires making an aggregate device in Audio MIDI Setup. Line-Out Green Rear is the front. Line-Out Orange Rear is the back. Line-Out Black Rear is the center and subwoofer.
